When the Porcelain Museum is merged with the upcoming Citizens' Museum in Höchst, around 1000 m² of exhibition space in high-quality rooms are at disposal for its exhibitions.
The Porcelain Museum, which has been in the Kronberger Haus for 25 years, is to be integrated into the planned Citizens' Museum in the Bolongaro Palace. With the merger of the Porcelain Museum with the upcoming Citizens' Museum in Höchst, around 1000 m² of exhibition space in high-quality rooms are at disposal for its exhibitions. The Frankfurt Historical Museum will be responsible for the planned Bolongaro Museum.
The opening is expected in 2027 after the renovation work at the Bolongaro Palace has been completed. The future of the Kronberger house has not yet been decided.
