What’s typical of Frankfurt? The answer must of course include Goethe, Äppelwoi cider, the Römer, skyscrapers – and the Eintracht Frankfurt football club.
The city has been in awe of its football club for over 120 years now. Eintracht Museum is located right next to the main stands in the stadium and brings the club’s history to life. The exhibition shows the Eintracht’s exciting development with a view to sports-related, social, political and cultural aspects. And: being a fan is expressly permitted. So feel free to be moved, to suffer and rejoice vicariously! Or sing along to the club hymn “In the heart of Europe”.
Foundation charter, books recording the teams, jerseys, balls and shoes – the museum contains numerous exhibits from the club’s history. The large trophies are the greatest highlight.
