Kuhhirtenturm (Tower of the Cowherds) was built in 1390 and restored to its original glory by the City of Frankfurt in 2011.
Fondation Hindemith has installed a memorial space here to composer Paul Hindemith, who lived in the building from 1923 to 1927. The Hindemith Kabinett with its four modern and bright exhibition rooms traces Hindemith’s life and work by way of original exhibits, reproductions of historical documents as well as original sound recordings. The attic floor houses what is probably the smallest concert hall in the world.
Visit the chamber concerts in the intimate atmosphere of the “music room”.
