Climate change is challenging our imagination: rising emissions and growing environmental fears are driving the search for new models to shape possible futures. The exhibition is dedicated to these challenges and presents international artistic and scientific visions for actively shaping our futures.
The exhibition understands the future as an interplay of different visions by scientists, activists, authors and artists - always in the plural. Visitors will encounter a variety of perspectives that critically examine technological and social solutions. The focus is on topics such as geoengineering, weather manipulation, quantum computers and alternative, decolonial futures. The exhibition invites us to ask whether and to what extent technologies can help us to shape the future - and what price we pay for this.
