The comic is a space full of possibilities. How can the space in the comic be experienced and the worlds in it become tangible? In the cultural history of comics, figures and landscapes emerged from the format early on and became experienceable in a third dimension as game characters or spatial worlds. In recent years, spatial design in the exhibition context has developed as a special feature. The comics are made accessible and tangible through three-dimensional objects, expansive illustrations and shaped figures. The exhibition shows drawn history through to expansive installations and three-dimensional objects by German and international artists such as Elizabeth Pich, Gabri Molist and other positions.
