MARTIN PARR. EARLY WORKS

British MAGNUM photographer Martin Parr is a chronicler of social life. Many of his early photographs, taken mainly in England and Ireland, are now icons of photographic history.

In addition to his profession as a photographer, Parr is also a curator, festival organiser, author and collector, and is known for his ironic yet socially critical point of view. The exhibition at the Fotografie Forum Frankfurt brings together a selection of his black and white images from the 1970s and 1980s.
