Every year on the last weekend of August, Frankfurt celebrates its museums and its riverine setting with a lively three-day festival, the Museumsuferfest.
In this unique combination, the Festival is a popular platform for presenting Frankfurt's cultural institutions and cultural key players. With an annual attendance of around 1 million visitors, and with the varied programmes of museums, stage shows, projects, and presentations, the Festival is a real highlight in Europe’s cultural calendar planned by the Tourismus + Congress GmbH. Art, culture and disburdening the mind blend together for three days into a spectacular mammoth festival.
The next Museumsuferfest will take place August 29 to 31, 2025.
